On the 3rd Saturday of February, the museum hosts African American Heritage Day in which residents celebrate their history through an afternoon program.

The Guy and Colleen Claybourn Symposium is a monthly series of lectures that is held in the fall and Spring with guest speakers speaking and educating the public about the social, cultural, and environmental history of the Palacios Area.
Partnering with Texas A&M Agrilife Extension, facilitator Amy Nowlin. Classes are once a month on Fridays from 8am-1am. Contact us to register your child.
